Understanding The World
Recognise that people have different beliefs and celebrate special times in different ways.
Weave opportunities for children to engage with religious and cultural communities and their practices throughout the curriculum at appropriate times of the year. Help children to begin to build a rich bank of vocabulary with which to describe their own lives and the lives of others.
Happy Easter Everyone!
Kung Hey Fat Choy!
On the 7th of February 2024 we all had the most wonderful time celebrating Chinese New Year.
What a fantastic tea we all had together!
We discovered lots of new flavours and textures
For the whole week of November 13th 2023 we enjoyed breakfasts from some of the countries we are all from or have links with.
We tasted a variety of foods from:
Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Scotland, France and finishing with a full English on Friday.
Big Huge Thankyous to all of you who donated items for the food bank.
We are so grateful and will be taking them along to The Salvation Army on Wednesday 29th of November
Halloween fun!
This year for our Halloween celebrations we enjoyed a special visitor
Phil Mellor from PM Reptiles brought along his many different snakes and a Chameleon for us to look at and touch if we wanted to.
It was so exciting and we learned lots of interesting facts and new words.
