Staff Development and training

At lucy lockets we like to make sure that our staff team are up to date with all developments in the early years sector.

Each member of our team is individual and just like all of our children very special in their own right.

The management team like to make sure that any individual skills and talents are embraced, and shared in our nursery.

We have annual professional development reviews where all the staff can share their ambitions and ideas along with discussing areas that we have identified as a focus for their own progression.

Alongside mandatory training such as safeguarding , additional needs and first aid we support staff to upskill by using our on line training provider Noodle Now.

This provider allows the team to access a huge variety of courses and training relevant to our profession.

The ongoing training ensures continual development for the staff , producing and maintaining a highly motivated and enthusiastic team .
